ABSTRACT Enhancing Psi Dream Proficiency - The Art of Psi Dream Crafting. Dale E. Graff Summary of Presentation A methodology for experiencing psi dreams is presented that can be applied by any dreamer. The procedures include how to incubate specific psi dream formats, type of content and when they occur during the nightly dream cycle. Practicing theses psi dream crafting techniques increases their occurrence, improves their recognition and recall, and enhances their potential utility.

Abstract Many people occasionally experience a dream that has psi content. The dream may present information about an approaching situation that then occurs, or it may alert them to something unknown that has already happened. Such alert and warning or precognitive dreams are almost always spontaneous and unexpected. Something important, such as intense concern about someone’s welfare, is the incubating factor that enables the psi information to be accessed and then presented in a dream. Sometimes the psi dream is very explicit, but most often the psi aspects of the dream are mixed with personal issues or symbolism that have several possible interpretations. Parapsychological research indicates that everyone has an innate psi ability that is easiest to experience in dreams. However, this psi talent usually remains dormant or difficult to recognize for most people. This presentation illustrates an alternative way for experiencing psi dreams that does not depend on waiting for the enabling circumstances to occur. The techniques described can be applied by anyone, even if very few psi dreams or none, had been previously experience and recalled. Examples of documented psi dreams from reliable dreamers and from the presenter’s own research illustrate the nature of psi dreams, how to experience them and how to enhance their reliability. Some of the dreams cited are for a variety of practical situations where their information was acted upon to avoid or prevent the perceived situation. A few of them occurred during the government’s Stargate remote viewing (RV) program for hostage and fugitive search projects. (The fugitive case was featured on the television program; America’s Most Wanted and the results of the psi search were recreated and presented in a BBC television documentary.) Dreams relevant to the Washington, DC area sniper case during October 2002 illustrate the potential of psi dreams for law enforcement applications. Key aspects of the methodology presented for initially experiencing psi dreams and enhancing proficiency include:

Applying the methodology presented facilitates the crafting of the psi dream so that it is easier to experience, recall and recognize. Keys to achieving repeatable and reliable psi dreams are the dream incubation focus on specific objectives, the intention to have the psi dream occur during the last dream cycle of the sleep period and the intention for the dream to have as little non-psi content as possible. Desiring the psi dream to present most if not all of the psi derived material at the dream’s ending facilitates its recall and simplifies separating psi from non-psi material The similarities and differences between Conscious State Psi (CSP), including remote viewing (RV), and Dream State Psi (DSP), including dream telepathy, are reviewed to enhance the understanding of the psi process. Various models of how psi functions are briefly discussed to illustrate how individuals with various cognitive styles experience and perceive different types of information. Cognition and meaning are viewed as independent parameters that have a significant effect on how psi dreams, or any type of psi, are evaluated or interpreted. The psi dream enhancement methodology, and the interpretation guidelines that accompany it, have been applied successfully by the presenter and by others, especially those who have attended his workshop, The Art of Psi Dreaming, and some of the individuals who have provided inputs to the International Psi Alert Center (InPAC). I close this presentation with a challenge to ALL dreamers: Why not set aside one night a week or one night a month for seeking and crafting a psi dream? Very likely, it will have psi material of high interest and possibly of personal or collective significance. As more people begin to experience reliable and repeatable psi dreams, a community of "psi alert" dreamers will emerge to help everyone keep a step ahead of troubling local and national situations that are almost certain to occur. Let us learn from the many spontaneous precognitive dreams that occurred prior to Sept. 11 and not let their clear call for psi dream attention continue to go unheeded.
