Summary of Presentation In 1988, for the first time in the ASD history a performance called
"Recreating One Night of Sleep" brought the marriage of art and
science. Through scientific inquiry into one night of sleep this
performance brought different dimensions of dreaming through multi-media
theater. "A Lucid Journey into One Night of Sleep" is a
revisiting of this performance specially scripted for the 20th anniversary
of ASD and will be performed with new dream script and cast revisiting the
theme of a marriage of art and science. The performance begins with
Hypnagogic images and move to a variety of dream experiences from lucid
dreaming to dream within dreams to hypnopompic state. The
performance will include music, mask dance, visual projections and dream
