Sara is also in the first class of the New England Dreamwork Institute where she is working toward her Dreamwork certification. She is also an actress, singer, playwright, and freelance American Sign Language Interpreter.

Michele Ferrante is a Special Education Teacher in Philadelphia, PA.  She educates children and adults in the study of their own dreams through presentations, workshops and local dream groups.

Summary of Presentation

Why let all those crazy characters, wild locations and great adventures go to waste? In this workshop, kids and parents will have the chance to create art, stories, poetry and theatre from their nightly dreams. Following our workshops, we will have a fantastic dream-inspired art gallery and production for all to come see.

Learning Objectives.

          1. To freely create various artistic projects from dreams.

           2.  How to record dreams in a daily journal.

3.  How to write Haiku poems from dreams.

Evaluation Questions:

1.  What are some ways for us to use dreams creatively?

 2.  What if we can’t remember dreams?

3.       What if I don’t know how to write?
