21st International Conference of The Association for the Study of
DreamsCopenhagen 18. - 22. June 2004
TRANSPORTATION
INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT
Copenhagen is very easily accessible from worldwide airports. Copenhagen
Airport is the largest airport in Scandinavia, served by more than 100
international airlines which have non-stop flights between Copenhagen
and 127 different destinations in the world. From Copenhagen airport it
takes only 12 minutes by train to reach the Copenhagen city centre.
Please note that the conference length
and the fact that the conference takes place over a weekend make it easy
to get low rates and discounted air tickets to Copenhagen. Please be
sure to make your reservation well in advance to take advantage of the
possibilities for low fares.
LOCAL TRANSPORT
Collective transport is exceptional in Copenhagen including train,
subway (metro), and buses.
A special ASD Conference "ticket" will be
available at a fixed discounted price, which allows free transport
between all relevant places on train and bus.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Hotels
21st International Conference of The Association for the
Study of Dreams
Copenhagen 18. - 22. June 2004 |
For three of the hotels we have achieved
a saving of between 50 to 60% compared to the normal regular prices in
June, so I think this is a good offer . _ Olaf Hansen, Conference
Host
The ASD negotiated price for hotels
includes all tax and service charges and for most hotels it also
includes breakfast. ASD has negotiated with Carlson Wagonlit what we
believe to be the best prices for the hotels listed. Although there may
always be exceptions and lower price accommodations, please be aware
that when looking elsewhere you to check that listed rates factor in tax
and service charge and compare before purchacing.

Information for those who reserved a hotel through Wagonlit:
The hotel should have received all names by now for those who
registered by the deadline. Any new names will only have been
registered at the hotel after the guest has received a confirmation from
us.
No money has been charged to any credit cards. The hotel will receive
the credit card details only to guarantee the reservation. At check-in
the guests can pay with their credit card or choose to pay with other
means. (Cash or other credit cards).
Should anyone somehow not pay at the hotel - the hotel will charge the
credit card after departure. General requests (such as non smoking rooms
etc). can be made either directly to the hotel (after you recieve the
confirmation) or through Wagonlit. Some requests can however not be
solved before check-in at the hotel such as requests for a certain room
or view and should therefore be made directly to the hotels.
Wagonlit has requested to the hotels that the hotel should ask the guest
how they would like to pay at check-in. The time of payment may differ
from hotel to hotel, but normally payment will be at check-out. (The
hotel will also need to know if there's any extras such as bills from
phone calls and the mini bar).
The guests should show the confirmation from us at check-in as it is
their proof of reservation.
It is not necessary to call the hotel prior to the check-in but if you
want to make sure there is a not problem this may be advised. If any
problem should occur the guest should call me, Charlotte Lehn-Schiĝler
or Yvonne at Wagonlit for help. (+45) 33 63 76 76, or e-mail
