Check-in and Registration
Check-in for the conference is at the Cooperage in Sauvignon Village in the southwestern corner of the Sonoma State Campus. Download a campus map now for a visual look at the campus location. You may park in the residential lots temporarily during check-in. You will receive a parking permit for residential parking in the Sauvignon Village lots if you are staying in on-campus lodging; display this on your windshield.
If taking a taxi to campus, request drop-off at the Cooperage in Sauvignon Village.
Check-in Hours
Check-in hours are from 1pm to midnight on Thursday June 28 for those arriving early. If you plan on arriving after midnight, please contact the Housing Coordinator, Vanessa Metcalf, so that we can accommodate your arrival.

Parking
Those staying on-campus receive parking permits for parking in the Sauvignon Village residential lots; it must be displayed on the windshield.
For those driving on to campus, park in lot J (non-reserved parking); this is the closest non-reserved lot to the Cooperage. You must purchase a daily $2.50 parking permit from the yellow machine near the entrance to the lot, and display the pass on your windshield. Note that parking is free on Fridays after 5 p.m., and all day Saturdays and Sundays—you don’t have to pay.
Disabled Parking
Disabled parking is available in the residential lots, at Zinfandel Dining Commons, Schulz University Library, Stevenson Hall, and the Commons. See this site for disabled parking spots and disabled access to buildings.
Housing
We are housed in Sauvignon Village, directly surrounding the Cooperage, in the southwest corner of campus. Sirah, Marsanne and Grenache have been reserved for the conference.
Meals
For those staying on-campus, meals are provided in the Zinfandel Dining Commons with a dining pass. See this site for map location of Zinfandel and menu items.
Zinfandel Dining is not available for those not staying on-campus, due to space and service restrictions. Dining options for those not staying on campus include Charlie Brown’s in the ground floor of the Schulz Library, which has pleasant outdoor shaded tables; and the pleasant outdoor Summer Grill for lunch from 11am to 2pm. A plaza across the street from campus offers tasty Nepalese food at Shangri-La; fruit smoothies; Starbucks; Taco Bell; ice cream; and other venues. Oliver’s Market about a mile down the street on East Cotati offers prize-winning take-out, cakes, coffee, fruits, vegetables, cheese, and wine. Art Exhibit
Visit our juried art exhibit of dream-related and dream-inspired art in the beautiful University Library Art Gallery in Schulz Library. Gallery hours are Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm, Sat noon – 5pm. The show runs daily from June 15 to July 27, 2007.
Books and Products
Amicis, directly next to the Cooperage, hosts a bookstore with dream-related books and journals, a recording service for tapes of the sessions, dream-related products, and the display of auction and raffle items.
Wireless Computer Access
The University provides wireless computer access in the Cooperage, Amici’s (where the products are sold), Schulz University Library, Darwin, and parts of Stevenson Hall. Unfortunately no wireless access is in the lodging. Laptops must be equipped with a wireless network card with wi-fi capabilities. To access the system, turn on your wireless, start up your browser, and log on as a Guest to the SSU system, using your personal email. See this campus map for wireless locations.
Sauvignon Village Computer Access
If you’re staying on campus in Sauvignon Village, your room is equipped with internet access—you must bring your own Ethernet cable to use the system. To access the system, plug in your Ethernet cable, start up your browser, and log on as a Guest to the SSU system, using your personal email.
Checking Email
If you’re not bringing your computer to the conference, Schulz University Library has computers with web access for checking email. Visit this site for more information.
Swimming, Tennis, Recreation
The university pool is open for lap swimming from 11am - 3pm MonWedThurSat, 11am - 1pm TuesFri, closed Sunday (closed TuesWedThurs July 3,4,5). Buy a daily pass at the Rec Center front desk on the ground floor of the student union; it's $3 day for swimming. The pool is in the Physical Education building on the east side of campus; see the campus map. Bring a towel and a lock so you can lock your things in a locker in the locker room, or a bag with your things in it that you can set by your lane when swimming. Show your name tag when you buy the pass so they know you’re from the Conference.
You can use the Rec Center for a daily pass of $8 ($10 a day for a combined pool and rec center use on the same day). Pay this at the front desk of the Rec Center. Hours are 6:30am - 930pm Mon-Fri, 10am - 8pm weekends (closed July 4). Show your name tag when you buy the pass so they know you’re from the Conference.
Tennis courts are on the eastern edge of the campus near the athletic fields. Walkers often visit the creek running the northern edge of campus, the lakes, and the butterfly gardens on the northeast side of campus.
Checkout
Checkout is by 11am on July 4 (July 5 for those staying an extra day). Conference participants must return room keys to the Information desk in the Cooperage. Deposits will be returned only when keys are returned. We are offering van service twice an hour to the Doubletree Hotel on Wed. July 4 from 6am to 2pm. Sign up at the Information Desk for this service. If you are departing earlier than 5am on July 4 or July 5, please see the Housing staff at the Registration / Information desk early in the conference so we can accommodate you.
