Welcome to IASD Online

Welcome to the Association for the Study of Dreams, a nonprofit educational organization for the advancement of studies in dreams and dreaming.

IASD develops and offers an annual International Conference, has regional conferences and offers a peer-reviewed journal and an internationally distributed magazine.

"IASD Online" is an electronic community which provides opportunities for collaborative educational projects between researchers, therapists, anthropologists, writers, and other dream concerned individuals and groups. We support the creative and constructive uses of computer and communications technologies for these purposes and for exploring and entertaining new ideas, values, and perspectives.

IASD provides programs for people of all ages and backgrounds. We encourage research, writing and academic collaboration from grade school to graduate school. We also offer those who are simply interested in dreams and dreaming a fund of information on dream-related topics and special presentations at regional and international conferences.

In addition to the wealth of information here at IASD Online, you will find a supportive community. In the Bulletin Board discussions area you can enjoy the company of dream-concerned individuals from across the nation and the world. You can discuss everything from traditional theories about dreams and dreaming to the latest books and issues related to lucidity, consciousness and children's dreams.
Please do not post personal dreams nor personal interpretations of dreams on the Bulletin Board.
