I wake up in a bedroom. The paint is light maybe yellow and it is very calming here. I turn in bed and look out the window. The window is smaller than a normal window and has a lot of grime around the edges so I can only see out a small area in the center. I look outside and it is one of the most beautiful scenes I have ever experienced.
We are in a house and I am looking out the backyard. The house is probably on a cliff side or high hill because it seems the furthest ground below is a long way down. The yard area is yellow like a spring meadow with some purple flowers scattered about. Then there are is a small area of beach or sand or rocks and then the ocean.
The most amazing part about this scene is the abundant wildlife around. There are three or four donkey's lounging about on one side of the yard. I see creatures jumping in and out of the ocean that are otters or maybe seals. There is another strange creature walking through the water. It looks a bit like a gorilla.
I looked out again - the gorilla animal came out of the water and was a wolf with a chain on as if it was a pet or someone did not want it to roam wild - it could walk around a certain area of the yard but was chained.
Now the scene changed and it looked more like a European city - I say this because there was a river and the buildings looked like a style older than most US cities. This time we were even higher up from the ground and I could see quite a ways around me. While it was not as beautiful as the previous scene, there was a charm surrounding the area. It made a good photo op as there was so much going one (since I could see so far).
This is based on a significant dream from Feb 17, 2004 - I had written it in my journal and somewhat forgot about it until...On Feb 13, 2006 I moved from the US to Belgium. We had to stay in a hotel the first few days till our house was ready. The first night we slept in our new house was Feb 16, 2006 and on the morning of Feb 17, 2006, I woke up in my new house and after writing my dream from that morning, I decided to look up my dreams from past years on this same date.
I was surprised to see this dream from 2 years earlier on 2004 because it starts by saying "I wake up in a bedroom... " and then goes on to describe many similarities to the new house I had just woke up in... yellow walls, our bedroom window is actually "smaller than a normal window", the house does sit up high and look down out the back window. It is also in Europe which is a key transformation of the dream from a meadow nature scene to a European city. Overall it felt very meaningful to me that morning.
