Title of Work:     4 Suns
Medium:             Digital
Date Created:    1992

Dream: I was in a very surreal place during this dream. I found myself in the vastness of an endless desert and I was a model. As I looked at the photographer, I was shocked to see 4 suns in the sky. This work of art captures the bizarre landscape and surrealism of the dream.

Title of Work:      Cauldron
Medium:              Acrylic
Date Created:      2008

Dream: I see my mother and my grandmother sitting in a convertible that is parked not far from where I am standing. Suddenly, and without warning the car EXPLODES and I knew that they were both dead as it would be utterly impossible to survive such an explosion. End of Dream

In 'real' life, they have both been 'dead' for over 20+ years! Yet, when I awoke, I was an emotional wreck. It was then that I realized that the purpose and intent of the dream was to facilitate my grieving process, which it did accomplish. The Cauldron work represents the releasing of energy - all the pent up and unprocessed grief.

Title of Work:      Crystal City
Medium:              Mixed - Acyrlic/Digial
Date Created:      ca 1998

Dream: I was lying on my back on a small table, much like an examining table. There was a person there that surgically implanted a quartz crystal in the abdominal region. I felt no incision, and there was no blood, yet this implant happened.

Title of Work:      Hawaii Beach
Medium:              Acrylic
Date Created:      ca 1993

Dream: My friend Chris and I were taking a drive in the California countryside along a windy, uphill road. I was driving. Suddenly, the passenger door flew open and my friend was hurling through the air! I watched dumbstruck, and knew that she would soon plunge to her death! There was nothing I could do. I continued driving until I reached the top of the mountain where I parked my car in a lot next to a large house.

I entered the house - which was just gorgeous with a spectacular view. There were about 25 to 30 people there - a party of some sort. Standing near a window, the house suddenly begins to shake and within minutes, the house splits apart and freefalls downwards crashing into the earth below. As I am descending, I think that I will not survive this incident. Yet, within a second or two, I find myself standing on the sea shore - stunned and dazed, but OK. End of dream.

Little did I know at the time, that this was a predictive dream. It symbolically represented the 'death' of my dearest friend, and the total destruction of my life as I had known it. I had literally lost everything - work, significant other(s), friends, cars, housing, and most all possessions. Facing homelessness I found shelter from a church friend and within about 6 weeks I found myself standing on Hawaiian shores! Turns out that a business client of my friend, gifted me a one-way ticket to Hawaii stating that Spirit told her that either I or her business acquaintance would use it. And so it was.

While in Hawaii, I found a simple, but lovely apartment. Devoid of phone, car, TV, radio, I had much time and started to paint. This painting - Hawaii Beach, is but one of many works I did during my stay there. What is remarkable about this work, is that the locals would name the beach of the painting.....but I have never been there, nor have I ever seen a picture of it either!

Title of Work:     Shambala Crystals
Medium:             Digital
Date Created:     2006

Apart from having crystal implants, crystals, and dreams/visions of the 'Crystal City' it is a recent dominate theme in the IASD dream study group of which I am a member. Even though this work was produced well before I became a member, the work represents the cohesiveness of the collective consciousness in which space and time know no boundaries.
