Title of Work:     Butterfly Emerging
Medium:             Photography
Date Created:     July 2010

Dreamed again about being wrapped in silk, only this time I could hold it up to the light and through its transparency, could view another world...  (dream journal entry - july 2010)

Title of Work:     Three Birds on a Fence
Medium:             Photography / Photoshop
Date Created:     September 2010

I am watching the sky, sitting in a field of green clover. On a fence I see three black birds. They squawk, then fly over head.
The sky is a silvery blue color. (dream journal entry - february 2007)

Title of Work:     Purple Flower Dream
Medium:             Photography / Photoshop
Date Created:     September 2010

I’ve been sitting at the shore line, watching the waves roll in. In my hand I have a hot cup of coffee and a few peanut butter crackers. I look down at my feet, and notice I am barefoot, (semi-aware that this is a dream now) so I dig my toes into the sand and lift the sand out with my toes. There’s no one else on the beach with me, the sun is either rising or setting, its hard to tell because the sun is right in front of me. A few yards away from me I see a solitary, single stemmed blue, yellow, and purple flower growing out of the low-tide clay. I think this is an unusual place for a flower to grow, but I make a mental picture of it in my mind.  (dream journal - february 2007)

Title of Work:     Not The Dragon
Medium:             Self Portrait / Photo / Digital Manipulation
Date Created:     July 2010

...The cases contain all the dream weaponry that has been collected for years.  I begin to be attacked with these weapons.  There are sharp objects, swords, axe, guns, picks, etc.   I am sliced with an axe, and cut with a sword.  I put my hands up in front of my body to try to protect it.  I see a handgun and see it being loaded.  I know in the dream that this is not going to end well.  I am defenseless.  I feel the impact of the bullet, and I feel the pain of each cut with the sharp objects. I am screaming over and over again “Stop!! I am not the dragon!!!!  I am not the dragon…I am not….”
(dream journal entry...some time in June 2010)
