Title of Work:     Airport Rollercoaster
Medium:             Art Markers / Colored Pens
Date Created:     9/30/2006

Fleeing the house of a family in Phoenix I did not know, I try to make my 2:40 p.m. plane. It is already 2:40 as I scramble through the city. I am on a residential block and as I turn the corner I find there is a stop for the "Airport Rollercoaster". Thrilled to have come across this invention, I board it to the airport and pass the moon that resembles someone from my past. I find that I just make it even though I left the same time as I arrived at the airport - the wonder of time in dreams.

Title of Work:     Carol's Jewelry
Medium:             Art Markers / Colored Pens
Date Created:     11/17/2006

I went to visit my dear friend Carol who was designing jewelry. She had a very special custom made display that surrounded an outdoor pool. The jewelry cases were also built-in and had beautiful lighting within. I came to view her collection and she showed me a favorite necklace she made. It seems I brought a young boy, that I may have adopted from Indonesia, that was interested in design and wanted to see her work. It was night time, quiet, peaceful and the water was gently splashing over the glass cases. File attachment name: carol's jewelry.jpg

Title of Work:     High School to India
Medium:             Art Markers / Colored Pens / Watercolor Pencils
Date Created:     3/4/2005

A friend and I were in high school, in the gym, with some shady characters that were not students. We were afraid for our lives because they did not like my friend. I knew we had to get out of there. As we began to run we could only do so in slow motion which naturally caused more fear. But we made it out and started walking on a path. The scenery changed, the attire changed, and it seemed we changed as well. We kept on the path until we reached India - a remarkable transformation. We were on a balcony dressed in beautiful native garments, bedazzled by our appearance, the surroundings, and how far we had come on such a short path.

Title of Work:     The Beheading
Medium:             Art Markers / Colored Pens
Date Created:     3/4/2005

I was moving across a wide open, hilly, sprawling lawn. There was an unknown building in the distance. It was night, very still outside, and I did not recognize the environment. A Samurai with a curved sword was coming up behind me. We were running in slow motion although he was still faster than I. I knew he was going to slice off my head. At that moment of the beheading I felt nothing. There was no pain or fear - it was a clean cut. I awoke at that instant.

Title of Work:     Victorian Visitation
Medium:             Art Markers / Colored Pens / Watercolor Pencils
Date Created:     6/28/2006

As I frequently have  dream "visitations" near the dates of my deceased parents or pets, my beloved Welsh Corgi Mr. Pickle, who passed when this was done, visited me and brought my parents - a rare dream. The time had a distinctly Victorian presence. I found myself in a large, old Victorian house in a very dark room. Then lights came into being that were a mixture of old and new. There were oil lamps, candle light, and early versions of electric lighting. It seemed eerie, yet silent and beautiful. I felt the presence of all my visitors and was thrilled that they all appeared together.
