Know the size and file type we need

We check pixel dimensions (for example, 2400 × 1500). Don't worry about the "DPI" number; it can be ignored.

Ad sizes are firm: your file must match one of the shapes below. A larger file in the same shape is fine, but a different shape isn't.

Tip: design your ad at the exact pixel size shown (or any larger size in the same shape). Never stretch a small ad to make it bigger.

Check your file

The quickest way is the checker at the top of this page. To check on your computer instead, tap yours:

Windows
  1. Right-click the image file → Properties.
  2. Click the Details tab.
  3. Look for Dimensions.
Mac
  1. Click the image file once in Finder.
  2. Press Cmd + I (Get Info) and open the More Info section, or open it in Preview and choose Tools → Show Inspector.
  3. Look for Dimensions.
Photoshop or a similar design program
  1. Open your ad file.
  2. Choose Image → Image Size.
  3. Look at the Width and Height boxes. Make sure they are set to Pixels.

Don't shrink it by accident

Some common habits quietly shrink your ad, even if the original was perfect. Always send the original file.

Avoid these

  • Texting or WhatsApp-ing the file. Both compress images heavily.
  • Choosing "Small" or "Medium" when your email app asks about image size. Always pick Actual Size.
  • Saving a copy from Facebook, Instagram, or a website. These copies are almost always too small.
  • Screenshots. A screenshot is always too small for print.
  • Stretching a small ad to the right size. It only makes it blurry.

Not the right size?

Please don't stretch or squash the ad to make it fit. Instead:

  • Go back to your original design file and export it again at the exact size shown above (or larger, in the same shape).
  • If someone designed your ad, send them this page and ask for the right size.
  • Check the new file here again before you send it.
